Century Sales is a manufacturers
rep agency covering Northern California and Nevada for manufacturers of quality
electrical, electronic and lighting products and components. The territory we
cover is usually defined as "the State of California north of, and
including the counties of Monterey, Kings, Tulare and Inyo (the southern boundries of these four counties create a straight line
(east-west) all the way across the state, just north of Bakersfield, from the
Nevada border to the Pacific Ocean). We also cover the state of Nevada. For
some principals we cover just Northern Nevada, usually defined as "the
State of Nevada, except for Clark County (Las Vegas)". For others we also
cover Clark County
Our main
office/warehouse, centrally located in the Northern California territory, is in
Concord, California. From this warehouse we provide same day shipping out of
our stock. Our distributors can fax an order in by 3:00PM and, if it is in
stock in Concord, we will ship the order that day! You can fax us at

Our office hours are 8:00AM to Noon & 1:00PM to 4:30PM Monday through

Our sales people
spend 60-70% of their sales time with the distributors in their territory and
30-40% of their time, depending on the sales person, with the end-users...the
electrical contractors, the specifiers, the
industrials accounts and the OEM's. The Century Sales team has decades of
experience. If you work in the electrical/lighting industry in Northern
California or Northern Nevada you may already know all or most of them.
Jim Jacobs
is the President of Century Sales. Jim got started in the electrical industry
in 1985 as an outside salesperson for G&R Sales, a manufacturers
rep agency, and has stayed in that end of the industry. Jim is an alumnus of
New Mexico State University (The Aggies). His specialties are circuit
protective devices, power distribution systems and electrical and electronic
testing, monitoring and trouble-shooting equipment. Jim is also an outside
salesperson calling on the distributors and end-users in the Bay Area. Jim and
his wife, Jill, live in Lafayette, California.
Jill Jacobs
also got her start in the electrical industry at G & R Sales. First as an inside salesperson and then moving to outside sales.
After spending 14 years in the rep end of the electrical industry Jill did an
11 year stint in the distributor end. As of April of 2007 Jill has joined the
Century Sales team. She is also a gradute of New
Mexico State University.
Jack
Wulfmeyer is a California registered professional engineer. Before founding
G&R Sales in 1980 Jack was with Bussmann Fuse. He started with Bussmann as
a sales engineer. When he left Buss in 1979 he was the Vice President of Sales
& Marketing. Jack has been with Century Sales since 2001. Jack does
distributor and end-user calls in the South Bay and the South Coast. Jack and
wife, Sue, reside in Carmel, California.
Dennis Gerrish
worked for many years with a rep firm in the Pacific Northwest as an outside
salesman. In 2004 he moved back to the Fresno Area where he grew up and
still has family. Shortly after that he began his association with
Century Sales. In 2006 Dennis made the move to Las Vegas and in 2007 married
his wife, Marie. Marie is a long time resident of Las Vegas and also works in
the electrical industry. Dennis covers southern Nevada and the Central Valley
in California up to Sacramento.
Karen DeLeon is our
lead inside sales person. She has made a point of providing superior customer
service for our distributors and their customers. Karen has years of experience
in inside sales in the electrical/lighting industry. Karen and her husband,
Mike, live in Concord, California.
Robin Pixton
is also an inside salesperson for Century Sales. She also does the lead follow
up and telemarketing for Century Sales. Robin, husband Al and their son, Thomas
also reside in Concord.
Kirsti Dishman
is the most recent addition to the Century Sales team. Kirsti
will be answering phones as well as working in the warehouse and in the shipping
and receiving department. She and her family also live in Concord.
We have the
qualified and experienced personnel to adequately cover our market area. We
know the market and our customers, both distributors and end-users, very well.
We have the product knowledge necessary to be successful and the willingness to
learn new technologies.
This is
